11 Great Scriptures On Anger

Its Cool Be Angry But Please Sin Not...

Its Cool Be Angry But Please Sin Not…

As much as we wish it wasn’t so…more times than we may like we may like we get angry. from the redunkulous line at Starbucks when you’re already late for work, to the guy that cut you off in traffic…and not to mention the girl who got your order wrong three times in the drive-thru and finally gets it right, or so you think, until you get home and open the bag in front of your anticipating five year old and realize his favorite Friday after school hot crispy nugget shaped chicken snack isn’t in the bag and suddenly you fe…..

….OK i totally had a flashback there….sorry guys…

Now where was I? oh yes!

Anger is most definitely a fact of life, but as disciples of Christ we are called to Be Angry & Sin Not….

Now don’t feel overwhelmed thinking you must try to keep tract of how many times  you get angry, because that of course is irrelevant. God does not want us to keep a tally of it for the purpose of beating ourselves down. Besides trying to is something like God telling Abraham to count the stars….ain’t gonna happen homeslice!  Yet, what we are called to do is beware of iniquities and take actions against them through Christ’s strength and declaring the word of God against it. As 2 Corinthians 10:4,5 says “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,”

These scriptures have helped me out a lot in my walk of faith and i don’t hope, but i KNOW they will help you too! So began to utilize these scriptures as guidance and declarations when anger tries to sneak its way into your day.
